<p>This week was insane for me.  A combination of homework insanity, AP studying and allergies led to a pretty low mileage week.  I&#8217;m really nervous  and I cannot believe that race day is so soon.  I feel unprepared but my goal is to finish.  Whether there&#8217;s walking involved or not, I will get that medal and wear it proudly.  Here is my training schedule from this past week: <span id="more-1008"></span></p>
<p><strong>Monday: </strong>10 x 400 pace -&gt;<del>4 x 400 pace(bad shin splints)</del></p>
<p><strong>Tuesday: </strong>Interval Training/Cross Training</p>
<p><strong>Wednesday: </strong>3 mi</p>
<p><strong>Thursday: </strong><del>3 mi</del></p>
<p><strong>Friday: </strong><del>Rest</del></p>
<p><strong>Saturday: </strong>6-10 mi</p>

<p>So race week is here.  I have a pretty chill mileage week that will be filled with healthy eating and lots and lots of water.  I will be picking up my race packet and having APs most likely on the same day.  I&#8217;m prepared for a stress filled week with lots of insanity.  Wish me luck!  Here is my training schedule for this coming week:</p>

<p>This quote completely represents my long from this weekend.  I just could not hit 10 mi but even though I had to walk for the last mi, I just kept telling myself that as long as I kept moving, I would finish.  I think that&#8217;s gonna be my motto for the half.  I may not be the fastest but I will finish.  I also tried out my peanut butter gel during the long run and it tasted pretty good but did nothing for energy so I might have to take it a bit earlier on race day.  I cannot believe that the half is only 2 weeks away.  Time just flew by.  Here was my training schedule for this past week: <span id="more-1006"></span></p>

<p style="text-align:left;">Well, I would like to start off by saying this blog has been such an amazing driving force in my life.  It keeps me accountable and has helped me get some awesome advice.  And most of all I have to thank all of you, my lovely followers, that put up with my weirdness and random hiatuses.  You guys have given me a place to share my voice and be heard by thousands.  I cannot thank you enough for sticking with me through thick and thin(haha) and through times of strength and times of weakness.  This blog would not be the same without your wonderful input.</p>

<p style="text-align:left;">Wow, looking at the numbers shows me this blog has come a long long way.  From 54 views per day to 15,000 is a huge jump.  I can&#8217;t believe how far this blog has come and I have you all to thank for it.</p>
<p style="text-align:left;">Enough talking about the past, now for some future plans!  Since I&#8217;ve been seriously slacking with Beach Body Bootcamp, I&#8217;m going to restart it at the end of May and put all my effort into making it amazing.  Next, I&#8217;m currently working on an online simple cookbook that I will hopefully start selling soon so get excited!  Many of you have asked how to eat healthy and I&#8217;m creating tons of healthy recipes for you guys with tips and tricks throughout.  I&#8217;m also going to try and begin posting more personal posts in the next few weeks like &#8220;normal&#8221; bloggers do.</p>

<p>Such a bad training week.  Was incredibly stressed from school(AP&#8217;s are coming up) and just couldn&#8217;t find the motivation to run.  This coming week I&#8217;ll be focused on balancing my eating, working out and school while keeping sane.  Here was my schedule for this past week:<span id="more-990"></span></p>

<p>This week had so good day and some bad days.  I manged to get a sub 1 hr time on my 10k!!!(recap coming soon)  Which was super duper exciting.  I also loved the interval workout I did.  The bad(or not so good day) was when I decided to run home with a heavy backpack and ended up walking about 6 mi home.  It was not very fun and the whole time I wished I would have just done another interval workout on the treadmill.  But I&#8217;m happy I did it although I will never do it again.  I also halfway through training!!!  Woo-hoo!!  Here was my training schedule for this week:<span id="more-977"></span></p>

<p>This week I have a relatively easy plan.  I&#8217;m only running 3 times because the 10k on Sunday messed up my schedule.  I have a 10-12 mi planned but may end up being 14 mi(hopefully if I feel good) where I will be testing out the new fuel I just got.  Must practice for the half!  Plus it will be nice to do a kinda test half to test out fuel and my time.  Here is my schedule:</p>

<p>This week was amazing!!  I did every workout and ran my first 24 mi week(first 20+ week too).  It was also spring break so I had extra time to walk after some of the easy workouts to add some mileage for the week.  I also ran 10 mi straight for the first time ever.  I was suppose to do 8 mi at most but felt amazing and just couldn&#8217;t stop.  And the funny things is for the first 2 mi of the run I kept thinking about stopping.  But I didn&#8217;t and I completed something that I could of never dreamed of doing a year ago.  I have accomplished so much and I need to let that push me to go farther.  I also did that run with no fuel what&#8217;s so ever.  But after the run, my dad took me to the running store and bought me so many things!  Here a picture:<span id="more-951"></span><!--more--></p>

<p>I got a new pair of running shoes(that I was recommend after showing her my arches and telling her about previous pains), pair of running capris, armband and chews and gels for longs runs.  I will be trying the shoes for the first time tomorrow and am so excited!  I hopefully won&#8217;t get blisters or arch pain but will tape up my foot just in case.  Here was my training schedule for the past week:</p>

<p>After hitting 10 mi on Saturday, I am 3 weeks ahead in training.  I know that I will get bored just scheduling more long runs, so I decided to include a 5k and 10k in so I have something to look forward to.  I also hope to PR at both races(fingers crossed).  This week, I have a 10k scheduled where I hope to run a sub 1 hour race.  Wish me luck!  Here is my training schedule for this week:</p>
