This week was insane for me. A combination of homework insanity, AP studying and allergies led to a pretty low mileage week. I’m really nervous and I cannot believe that race day is so soon. I feel unprepared but my goal is to finish. Whether there’s walking involved or not, I will get that medal and wear it proudly. Here is my training schedule from this past week: Continue reading →
Such a bad training week. Was incredibly stressed from school(AP’s are coming up) and just couldn’t find the motivation to run. This coming week I’ll be focused on balancing my eating, working out and school while keeping sane. Here was my schedule for this past week: Continue reading →
This week was so much better than last week! Didn’t skip one run. The counter on my blog has also started posting days! This is super exciting and super terrifying at the same time. I can’t wait to run it but I’m super nervous. I also PR at my 5k which was absolutely awesome. Here was my schedule for this week:
This week had so good day and some bad days. I manged to get a sub 1 hr time on my 10k!!!(recap coming soon) Which was super duper exciting. I also loved the interval workout I did. The bad(or not so good day) was when I decided to run home with a heavy backpack and ended up walking about 6 mi home. It was not very fun and the whole time I wished I would have just done another interval workout on the treadmill. But I’m happy I did it although I will never do it again. I also halfway through training!!! Woo-hoo!! Here was my training schedule for this week: Continue reading →
When I was seriously losing weight last year, I was very strict. I would count every calorie that went into my mouth and would always say no to food that wasn’t in my meal plan. As time went on, I got less and less strict to the point where I’m right back to where I started(not weight wise but diet wise). So I’ve come to the conclusion that I need to learn to say no again and I’ve created a list of things to do(because as many of you have come to realize, I love lists). Continue reading →
Yesterday I ran my first 10k! It was such an awesome experience and I can’t wait to race again. My mother was in charge of pictures this time and she was not very good with it so I have no pictures from the actual race on my camera. But I have 2 from her phone so I might add those later. I do have pictures from the morning though so I’ll picture-walk(I just coined the term) you through the day.
I had my alarm set for 6:45 so I could chug 2 bottles of water and then go back to bed. The time I actually woke up was around 8:40 and I went to the bathroom and got my breakfast of cereal and a bottle of water. Continue reading →
Welcome to the Beach Body Bootcamp Challenge. This challenge is for anybody of any level and age. It’s a heath/fitness/weight loss challenge. This is an 12 week challenge in which our goal is to get a beach ready body. It starts on March 18th and ends June 8th. This is my second year doing this challenge and would love for it to be as successful this year as it was last year.
