Be an Everyday Barbie

Into wonderful world of barbie we go.  Barbie is a fashion doll manufactured by the American toy-company Mattel, Inc. and launched in March 1959.   I know my childhood was filled with barbie dolls and I just loved her style.  So here’s my tribute to Barbie with 2 makeup looks and 3 outfits inspired by her.

The Dramatic Everyday Makeup Look

This is the slightly more dramatic version of the everday barbie makeup look.  Here’s how you do it:

Step 1: Put a primer all over your lids.

Step 2: Place a white base all over the lids over the primer.

Step 3: Use a crease brush to place a dark red toned brown in the crease.

Step 4: Use a pencil brush to place black in the outer v right under the brown.

Step 5: Take a crease brush and blend it out.

Step 6: Take a hot pink and place it all over your lids.

Step 7: Blend it together so the pink transitions to the black and brown seamlessly.

Step 8: Take a dark pink purple color and place it right above the black and brown and  blend it out.

Step 9: Take a skin tone white and place it right under the brown bone as a highlight.

Step 10: Place a shimmery white color in the inner tearduct with a pencil brush.

Step 11: Do a thin cateye with a liquid eyeliner.

Step 12: Place mascara on your lashes.

And viola, your done!

The Soft Everyday Makeup Look

This is the slightly less dramatic version of the look.  Here’s how you do it:

Step 1: Put a primer all over your lids.

Step 2: Place a white base all over the lids over the primer.

Step 3: Use a crease brush to place a dark red toned brown in the crease.

Step 4: Place an orange toned lighter brown right above the dark brown with the crease brush.

Step 5: Blend them together.

Step 6: Take a hot pink and place it all over your lids.

Step 7: Blend it together so the pink transitions to the browns seamlessly.

Step 8: Take a skin tone white and place it right under the brown bone as a highlight.

Step 9: Place a shimmery white color in the inner tearduct with a pencil brush.

Step 10: Do a thin cateye with a liquid eyeliner.

Step 11: Place mascara on your lashes.

And viola, your done!

Note: I am not wearing mascara in this look.
