Best Price Nutrition contacted me a few weeks ago to do a product review and I said yes!  I received 4 products and I will review them all in separate posts.  Today I will be reviewing the Hexapro Decadent Chocolate Milkshake Protein, like I did in my Tae Bo Review, with a pros and cons list. Hot Bod 4 Week Challenge: Final Review

SG in Bikini 3 edit

Yesterday was the final day of Hot Bod 4 Week Challenge and I have to say that I was not very good with it.  I didn’t follow all of the rules every day and know that if I did, I would have had better results.  But with this behind me, I plan on working hard and just trying to eat healthy.  As many of you know I promised a prize($15 itunes gift card for your workout playlist) to those who participated.  To win that prize, you must be following my blog, instagram, and twitter.  And you must comment on this post answering the questions: How did this challenge help you become healthier/fitter?  And what were your results?  At least 15 people must participate and add your twitter and instagram name in your response.  Good luck!

Tae Bo Review

A few weeks ago Tae Bo contacted me and asked me to do a product review.  I excitedly replied yes and they sent me a dvd, a tank top and a pair or shorts.  I saw Tae Bo on TV previously and had wanted to try it but just never could get my hands on a DVD.  I am happy to say I enjoyed the DVD and got a good workout but there was also a variety of cons.  This is my first product review so bare with me and I will do a pros and cons list of all the products I received. In Which the Protagonist Begins to Workout Again…

Today was my first day of working out in weeks.  I have many excuses for why I have not worked out:

  • School was ending
  • Finals
  • Stress
  • It was hot out
  • I’ll workout tomorrow
  • I’m perfectly happy with being unhealthy
  • and many many more

But the main reason includes the following: Continue reading

SG in Bikini 3 edit

This updates gonna be really quick because not much has really changed.  I followed the plan better this week than last week but I was not perfect.  This coming week is finals week but right after that expect more posts from me.  I also have a few surprises for you all that I think you guys are going to like.

If you are doing the challenge, how are you doing?  Have you seen any changes?

Hot Bod 4 Week Challenge: Week 1 Review

SG in Bikini 3 edit

I hope Week 1 was awesome for all those that participated.  Week 1 was not very good for me though.  I ate food I wasn’t suppose to eat and didn’t workout. My cop out is school’s almost over for me and I have to do projects and study for finals but I still should have done better.

This week I’m gonna try and start insanity and continue running and eating healthy.  I’m going on vacation in 8 weeks so it’s crunch time.  I hate being unhealthy and not working out, I feel so lazy and gross.  Here is my workout schedule(but it is subject to change): Continue reading

Hot Bod 4 Week Challenge(Prize info included!)

SG in Bikini 3 edit

Summer’s just about here and I know I’m not ready for it.  But that’s okay because for the next 4 weeks both you and me will be busting our butts to get in awesome shape.  I have a list of guidelines that you can pick and choose which ones you want to follow. The ones I stress that you do are closer to the top of the list.  The challenge will run from June 2 to June 29.  I recommend not weighing yourself till the very end so that you will not be disappointed.  Base your results on how you feel and how your clothes fit for a better indication. Personally I will be following all these guidelines and I will hopefully show you my results.  The guidelines are: Continue reading

Life Update

I know I’ve been MIA with posts other than Half Marathon training  and I am so sorry.  My life has been hectic lately with APs and the half marathon and school.  I’ve been really overwhelmed and had no time to anything but study and workout.  Now I’m alittle better off because APs are over and my classes are starting to warm down in preparation for finals.  This means that I’ll have more time to post!  My creative juices have began to flow and I have so many ideas.  I’m also planning a huge summer haul so watch out for a twofer post, one about how to shop smart and one with everything I bought.  I’m planning to go to a Goodwill for the first time ever and plan on buying a ton of cheap stuff and DIY a ton of it.  I’ve been watching youtube videos and have tons of inspiration. Half Marathon Training: 1 Weeks To Go!

This week was insane for me.  A combination of homework insanity, AP studying and allergies led to a pretty low mileage week.  I’m really nervous  and I cannot believe that race day is so soon.  I feel unprepared but my goal is to finish.  Whether there’s walking involved or not, I will get that medal and wear it proudly.  Here is my training schedule from this past week:  Continue reading
