Dry Hands? I Have the Cure!

…Not really but ever since winter started my hand have been drier than the Sahara. And over time I’ve learned a few little tips to help.

1. Keep moisturizing hand lotion near at all times. When ever they feel dry, lotion them. You can’t get around this if you want them to be vaguely soft.
2. Put vaseline on them at night before bed and put cotton socks or gloves over them. This will make them nice and slippery and they keep moisturized throughout the night.
3. Put lotion after you wash you hands. Soap is drying and will make your hands worse. Also try and use moisturizing soap which may help a bit.
4. Drink water. You should be drinking 8 glasses a day anyway but keeping hydrated helps keep your skin hydrated.

Everyday Fall/Winter Makeup Look

For winter, I love copper, gold and brown eyeshadows.  And I found this awesome cheap palette that has all of these colors.  I will have a review up soon but it is my favorite palette for fall/winter.  This is one of the many simple looks you can do with only 3 colors.  I know in the morning I am tired as heck and don’t want to be using 50 different colors so I came up with this simple easy and pretty look that can be worn everyday for school and work.

Everyday Look by Sephora Matte Madness

I bought the Sephora Collection Colorful Palette in Matte Maddness.  I needed a palette for vacation and this one was perfect.  The first color is a pink white, the second is a apricot brown, the third is a dark brown, the fourth is a taupe color and the fifth is the eyeliner.   I used all the colors except the taupe.  If you guys want a tutorial using the taupe, just ask!

The summer is upon us and the heat is making us sweat.  We cringe at the thought of our makeup melting off in the heat.  Well I have a few beauty tips and tricks I’ve learned that are sure to make this summer a great one.
